XNAME (PHANTASMATA LIVE)
xname is an Italian interdisciplinary artist based in London.
She works with self made instruments and open source software for live performance and real-time installation, expanding from visual and software art to electronic music.
Her sound performance Phantasmata is developed through the use of artificial lights and home-made micro-oscillators which generate sound waves. The light, transformed in electric current, passes through the circuit and exits in the shape of a sonic frequency, while the sound, modulated by manipulating the light sources, becomes tactile and synesthetic. The result is an hypnotic spectacle dominated by stroboscopy and industrial and noise-techno frequencies.
PATRYK LICHOTA & PIOTR BOCKOWSKI
Patryk Lichota & Piotr Bockowski are recording a short film based on their show ‘Painelectric sound tutorial” from Poznan/Berlin.
Piece takes on a notion of sound tortures performed by electric music technology on the body connected to it. The body becomes a pain simulator for musicians manipulating with their apparatus. They assume a fetishistic society toying with stimulation device that projects their pain-pleasure on the body.

VALENTINE EMILIA BOSSERT (INSTALLATION)
Title: Ever Since
Ever Since consists of three wooden boxes standing on wooden tripods. At their front is inserted a peephole aiming to stimulate the curiosity of the viewer and acting as an invitation to discover its secret content.
Although the viewer must voluntarily take a look at the content, he has no other choice but to stay external to it.
One is alone with their feelings and thoughts and unable to have any impact on what is happening before them.
For me Ever Since is both a reference to memory or nostalgic longing, which can hardly be shared or understood because so personal; and a reference to today’s media in our everyday life which is the window on a decay that leaves us powerless.
It is an attempt to recreate and understand the unbearable Void that lies between the human consciousness and the world unwinding before it, forever separated.
